C# – Unity Game

Developed with Unity, Vertigo Void was released in late October 2015 for PC & iOS platforms, I worked on it together with a friend from University. I acted as both designer and programmer for this game, planning and creating over 200 levels using our in-game level creator and also implementing the gameplay mechanics. The game is a 3D puzzle platformer that tests the user’s memory and spatial awareness with over 200 mind-bending levels. During development we collaborated through heavy use of Skype for communication, GIT for version control and our wiki to document game mechanics and features.

Vertigo Void Level Editor – In-Engine level creation

Vertigo Void also features an in-game level editor, which runs in the Unity Engine, allowing players to build & design their own levels before publishing them to Steam Workshop. Some of the level editor’s functionality, along with a test run of a level created from scratch is shown below:

Vertigo Void also features robust integration with Steamworks, with Achievements, Cloud Save, Trading Cards and Steam Workshop support, bolstered by an in-game level editor which I used to build the levels.
